Growth with a Plan

Lake County’s growing, no doubt about it. But growth doesn’t have to be a mess. Tim Morris wants us to grow the right way—with smart planning that respects people’s property rights and protects what makes this place special. That means updating old zoning rules, encouraging redevelopment where it makes sense, and making sure new projects actually fit the community. Growth should help us—not hurt us.

Infrastructure Can't Be an Afterthought

Tim Morris won’t pretend he can snap his fingers and fix traffic overnight—but he is taking an honest look at where our infrastructure is falling short and working to make changes. That means pushing for better coordination, smarter planning, and making sure growth doesn’t leave residents stuck in traffic or scrambling for basic services. It’s about fixing what we can—and being honest about what needs to change.

Protect What Makes Lake County Special

Growth shouldn’t mean paving over everything we love.  People move here for the lakes, the space, the small-town charm. Tim’s not into trendy environmental buzzwords—he’s into practical policies that protect our water, support alternative landscaping, and keep the natural buffers between neighborhoods. We can grow without losing who we are.

Straight Talk and Real Engagement

Growth can feel like it’s happening to people, not with them.  You can expect straight talk from Tim – more transparency, more education, and more ways for people to get involved. He’ll break down the complicated stuff and help folks understand how land use really works in Lake County. Because when people are informed, they can help fix what’s broken without endangering property rights.

Respect the Budget, Respect the Taxpayers

Government should live within its means—just like the rest of us.  Tim Morris knows every dollar the government spends comes out of your pocket. That’s why he’s a fighter for a responsible budget, pushing back on wasteful spending, and making sure your tax dollars actually go to things that matter—like roads, public safety, and clean water. No fluff. No pet projects. Just smart priorities and honest numbers.
